December 2008 The 43-metre motoryacht Renegade is currently undergoing her third and most extensive refit in just over a decade, this time under the direction of the Rainsford Mann Design team. RSD has been appointed to manage the full interior re-styling and exterior overhaul, so that from her engines to her bridge, and from her paintwork to her cushion covers, this well-known motoryacht is undergoing a complete transformation. Work has been in full swing since September 2007 at Barcelona shipyard MB’92 and RSD expects Renegade to take to the waters again sometime in 2009. An already popular charter vessel renowned for her record of trans-ocean cruising, she has a cruising range of nearly 4,000 nautical miles and has sailed all over the world – indeed twice around the globe – since first being launched in Brisbane in 1992. With the refit completed, Renegade will be able to accommodate eight guests and eight crew. Having undergone a number of incremental modifications over the years, this time her owner has opted to undertake a complete modernisation, so no part of the yacht has been left out of the re-design. |
