| Once the finished design package for the interior scheme is put into production by the fit-out contractor or shipyard, RMD carries out regular site visits to design manage this process. This means that during this stage we check that the integrity of the design is maintained, ensuring the highest standards of finish and craftsmanship are achieved. Regular design meetings are organised to offer further design support to the shipyard, thereby to monitor any variation orders that may arise, and facilitating the project’s completion on time and on budget. Notes are issued from each design meeting to keep our clients fully up-to-date with the progress of their project. To complete the service RMD is able to attend sea-trials and produce the document of homologation for hand-over once manufacture is complete. |
