Brief Summary of the Project

This 49.5m Superyacht was commissioned by the American yacht builder Burger Boats. RMD’s challenge was to create a vessel that would be aspiring to both new and existing Burger clients. Burger’s classic styling DNA served as the foundation for RMD’s design direction. This canvas was then worked into, creating a twist on the expectations of a Burger aesthetic. The outcome being a yacht of handsome proportions, containing classic lines, contemporary surfacing and design features yet most importantly a high volume , wide bodied interior – a lot of boat for your buck !

Inside, the yacht pays respect to the traditional Burger layout. 12 guests are comfortably accommodated on board. The owners suite has been designed to be situated either on the bridge deck aft, or, more traditionally on the main deck forward. Five guests suites are found on the cabin deck, one of which is a spectacular full beam VIP suite. Full height glazing allows the public areas to be flooded with natural light whilst offering unrestricted views. The large flybridge offers practical storage for one of the two on-board tenders, as well as the all important relaxation and entertaining spaces for the owner and guest.
